Erica Constransitch, LMT Gen Spa — South Florida 5 min read

Meet Erica Constransitch, LMT

Erica Constransitch is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has been working with South Florida clients since 2011. She is also an experienced stretching coach, which shows up in how she approaches a session — less as a single sore spot to press on, and more as a body that moves, holds tension, and lets go as a whole.

Erica is an independent Licensed Massage Therapist providing services through Gen Spa, and clients can now book sessions with her the same way they book with any of our practitioners. We are glad to add her name to that list.

More Than a Decade of South Florida Wellness Experience

More than a decade in one field gives a therapist a lot of hands to learn from. Erica has spent that time building a practice around therapeutic and relaxation massage, working with people who came in stiff from a long week, sore from a hard workout, or simply overdue for an hour of quiet.

That kind of longevity tends to sharpen a therapist’s instincts. She has learned to read tension quickly, ask the right questions before a session begins, and adjust her approach mid-session rather than sticking to a fixed routine. It is the sort of judgment that comes from years of actual hands-on work, not a weekend certification.

A Diverse Massage and Wellness Background

Part of what makes Erica’s background interesting is how varied it is. She has worked with professional athletes and gym members who needed sports massage between training blocks. She has spent time in chiropractic wellness settings, where massage supports a broader plan of care rather than standing on its own. She has also provided massage at events, and was a highly requested therapist during her years offering casino massage services — a fast-paced environment that teaches a therapist to work efficiently without losing quality.

Alongside that, she has worked with plenty of clients who simply wanted to relax, unwind, or feel more comfortable in their own body. That range — athletes on one end, someone looking for an hour of stillness on the other — is part of what she now brings to Gen Spa.

A therapist who has worked with athletes and with someone booking their very first massage tends to notice more, not less.

A Personalized Approach to Every Session

Erica is known among clients and colleagues for being friendly, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Before a session starts, she asks about comfort, preferences, and what someone hopes to get out of their time on the table, then builds the session around the answers rather than running through the same routine with everyone.

That adaptability is arguably more her signature than any single technique. Some clients want firm, focused pressure. Others want something gentler, with more attention on the shoulders or the feet. Erica listens for that, and adjusts as she goes.

Erica’s Massage Specialties

Erica’s training draws from several traditions, and she brings a specific set of specialties to her sessions at Gen Spa:

Therapeutic & relaxation massage Sports massage Acupressure Shiatsu-inspired bodywork Reflexology Headache & muscular-tension support Assisted stretching

Therapeutic and relaxation massage form the foundation of her work — broad, adaptable bodywork focused on comfort and everyday tension. Sports massage is a natural extension of her time working with athletes and active adults, offering targeted, purposeful work before or after training. Acupressure, which applies focused pressure to specific points on the body, and Shiatsu-inspired bodywork, which uses rhythmic pressure applied along the body, both reflect the traditional Chinese and Japanese wellness principles she was introduced to during her training. Reflexology, focused pressure applied to the hands and feet, rounds out that part of her practice.

She also works with clients on headache and muscular-tension support — sessions that pay close attention to the neck, shoulders, and scalp, where that kind of tension is often felt — and on assisted stretching, a therapist-guided form of stretching intended to support flexibility and more comfortable movement.

Erica is a graduate of the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida, where she completed her training on the Dean’s List. Her education included exposure to Shiatsu, Qigong, and reflexology alongside more conventional massage technique. Those influences shape how she works without turning a massage session into something else — she is not an acupuncturist, and none of these approaches are a form of medical treatment.

What Clients Can Expect From a Session With Erica

If you have not worked with Erica before, a first session usually starts with a short conversation about what is bothering you, what you would like the session to focus on, and how much pressure feels right. From there, she works within clear professional boundaries and continues to adjust her technique to your comfort level throughout.

You can generally expect thoughtful pressure and technique suited to what you need that day, personalized attention rather than a generic routine, and time centered on relaxation and general wellness rather than a fixed set of steps.

What a session will not include: a diagnosis or a promise about how you will feel afterward. Massage therapy may support comfort, relaxation, and everyday muscular tension, but it is not a substitute for medical care, and individual experiences vary.
